Denver in 3 Days Itinerary

Day One: Walking & Shopping in Downtown Denver

Your clients can start their day by strolling the 16th Street Mall and having breakfast at one of its outdoor cafés.  At a short walking distance from here is Denver Union Station, a gathering place for locals and visitors where your clients can eat a breakfast burrito at Snooze, sip a beer at the Terminal Bar, sample the locally sourced cuisine at one of the unique restaurants, or shop a bit.

Nearby on 14th and California streets is the 40-foot The Big Blue Bear sculpture, a Denver icon worth of a photo.

The shopping can continue at the Denver Pavilions, between Welton and Tremont streets. The Pavilions features 40 shops, restaurants and entertainment venues, including a movie theater and bowling alley.

After your clients are done with shopping, they can indulge in some culture at the Denver Performing Arts Complex, the cultural hub of the city encompassing opera, theater, stage, dance and music. Many museums in downtown are within easy walking distance, including Denver Art Museum, History Colorado Center, Kirkland and Clyfford Still

At the Clyfford Still Museum your clients can immerse themselves in color and explore the nine beautiful galleries of Clyfford Still’s art and learn more about the artist who created his own style of painting.

Another recommendation for the day is to tour the magnificent Colorado State Capitol, topped by a dome containing more than 200 ounces of real gold.

Denver Must See Attractions

Downtown Denver

Walk along the 16th Street Mall or ride the free shuttle at this mile-long mall packed with shopping, restaurants, and attractions. This is also where your clients will find some of the most popular places to visit in Denver, like Denver Union Station and the LoDo (Lower Downtown) Historic District, where they can shop at the iconic Rockmount Ranch Wear

Denver Art Museum

Your clients can explore Denver’s creative side at the Denver Art Museum with its famous Indigenous art and Western art collections. The museum is also a great place to admire the stunning views of the city skyline and Rocky Mountains.

Meow Wolf Denver

This Convergence Station is where visitors can discover immersive, mind-bending art across the four alien worlds of C Street, Eemia, Ossuary and Numina. After their cosmic exploration they can recharge with tasty treats and bold brews from local vendors at HELLOFOOD.

Murals & Street Art

One of the best museums in Denver is the city itself. Denver street artists have been busy brightening (and enlightening) the urban landscape for decades by making canvases of the city’s alleyways, building exteriors, warehouses, garage doors and storefronts.

City Park

City Park, Denver's largest park, has several lakes, spectacular mountain views, a public golf course, flower gardens and a hiking/jogging trail that is exactly one mile high. It's also where your clients will find other must see attractions, like the Denver Zoo  and the Denver Museum of Nature & Science.
